a month after
haha..
it's been over a month since i have made an entry as well as being away from my beloved cebu!hahha.yep life in manila is quite different from what ive been used to. haha.bein a bum for months..hehe it's quite a change ey!but it's good.ehehhe..the work's good as well..a relief a great relief from my first job.wahaha.unfortunately you'd get to miss a lot of things.huhhu..family.friends.food.laagsacebu.and miniminimore! hehehe..some photos ive taken from my first month...

it's almost 3am..still working on the portfolio. i guess squeezing ideas off one's mind is never easy especially if it's empty.haha.well i'm not saying mine's empty..just needs more research inorder to create somethin that's worth looking at/appreciated of some sort.hehe. i just hope these three i have printed won't end up a waste of energy.these three seems okay to me. pretty mediocre huh. well my opinion on design seem mixed up these past weeks..don't have a direction. hope to find it soon! or maybe i'd just stick to what i like doing most...maybe the results would be better..hmm.

im just glad that finally the last wall's done!
since chippy said the number 4 and letter U was 'incorrect', i had to change it to his preferred form..[his demanding attitude was sorta understandable since he is just learning how to write and he's not used to seeing the U and 4 that i painted].it's a good thing there was still excess orange and dark bluegreen.no need to mix colors and worry about the shade. ;D

finally the third and last wall has been colored..looked finished but not really..still has to do some finishing touches basically the white outlines and the portion behind the TV.hehe.now all i have to worry about is to whether there is a need to paint something below the painting on the 3rd wall..hmmm and how to add the 3 shapes chippy would never stop reminding me to paint..rectangle|oblong|heart..i thought he would eventually forget about it but as he notices that the painting looked done..he's thinking i might have forgotten about it..no i didn't..just not sure if adding the shapes would make it ok or cluttered..haha.whatever happens i have to follow my client's desire..though im not paid satisfaction is a must! xD

preparing a portfolio..that's my most important 'to-do' as of now.
the thing is, im not really sure if the portfolio would do any good..
i don't mean that it looks ridiculous or what..i'm not sure it's for something.
it's like im just doing it for myself..waaah.hope to get the call soon..
this one's just one of the 'doodles' i did..haven't finalized pa.as usual
my brain/hands only work when im under pressure..cramminGkiddo!

im dating today's blog as june 29,2008..technically though it's already the 30th.anyhooo..say labot?!...teeeheee. today's the second day that im painting my niece&nephews' room..haha not really much of a perfection but hey..that's what makes art soooo bEA-UTi-FullLLLL! haha
the idea or the concept of the design was not originally mine..got the cute chubby tree idea from my research.:) well, the whole thing was evErythinG from what i saw from the web..there's this office of an artist which they painted their walls with these really cute images..haha the one that attracted me most was that of the tree!..the chubby tree.!when i saw the photo of the office i decided that it would be perfect for the kids' room.:) but of course i still would need their consent. the original coloRs of the wall painting was supposedly just white|brown|lightbrown|pink..but since it's a kiddie room, i thought that it would be better if it would be something that's bright and that the coloRs would be playful..thus i decided to use my favorite coloring colors..[hehe] the secondary---- purple|green|orange. :) as usual we turned the green to yellow green as well as the oRange..the purple to a friendlier shade.hehe. the three colors are not the only ones used..i maintained the white outlines though. added stars and the rest is history. haha. it has been a very long time since i have painted a wall or any flat surfaces...or anything bigger than the eggbots.hehe. with the assistance of my niece&cuzins it's really nice to feel that they're supporting you and most especially that they appreciated your hardwork..[bisag kinopya??haha]char! :)
would try to finish the outlines tomorrow..hopefully i could start on the second wall/corner...or maybe on the cabinets.haha.it's definitely labor of love.free snacks rajud.haha.and i also hope they won't be dissapointed with the finished product...which reminds me one of my nephews wishes painted letters and numbers on one of the visible walls..better think of a way how to put these objects that won't make it out of place from the rest of the designs.*** xD
